I vividly remember the wonderful smells of the Italian Importing Company, located in Pittsfield, MA. . There were many delicious olives. Most of which I never learned the names of. They were in huge jars, with spices, olive oil, and I have no idea what else. Do you have pictures of any of the olives you carry? I am sure if I saw them, I would remember which ones they were. Hello
It was a pleasure to find a web sight where I will be able to order the Italian food products that I miss so much. I'm 100% Italian, originally from NY and had to relocate to the Cincinnati area over 9 years ago. As you may know Cincinnati is basically a German area and it is extremely difficult to find good Italian products here. I love to cook so I was pleased to find this web site where I can order the great Italian food products that I grew up with in NY. I hope to be able to take a short trip up to Cleveland soon to visit your store and spend some time in the great Italian neighborhood that I have heard is in Cleveland.
Best Regards,

It is a very funny thing that the best italian food in Providence comes
from cleveland in a huge box. Mr Gallucci you are the best local "italian
grocer in the nation"
as the girl next door said,
"Wow this guy has some huge Pepperroni!"
what can i say, you already have a reputation amongst the girls at brown.
Can't wait to stop in over Thanksgiving break.
Thank you so much and i will never forget.
ps.
as i write this, my roomate is hanging the Gallucci cheese from the
ceiling. all we need now is a pack of grandpa's Parodi's from medici
have a wonderful day and drop me your phone number

We were surfing the net for Italian food and found your website. It was unbelievable! I am originally from Lorain, OH. As a child, I
think Mom and Dad brought me to your store several times! We have friends here who are also from Lorain; when they go "home"
they try to visit your store. In the past, they brought me my shopping list of foods from your store! It was so exciting! Now that I see
your website and can order from you, I will be doing so very soon. Thank you for the beautiful website and the availability of our
wonderful foods!

I think coming back to see family in Cleveland, and making a trip down to Gallucci's, makes the stay a little more meaningful. One doesn't experience Cleveland, until one sets foot in the store and takes a deep breath! It's an aroma that can not be duplicated. I think it was Frank one day telling me about the move from the old store to the one now on Euclid. He said, the Tribe tells me when they slide into third base at Jacob's field, it smells like Gallucci's! Great line! Always bring the cooler home and fill up with many of your items when coming back here! Keep up the good work...people in Clevlenad don't knowhow lucky their are to have an establiment like Gallucci's and the West Side Market! See you around Thanksgiving! Go Tribe!

Hey Ray!
This is David that used to work around the corner at Hills Floral Wholesale. Even though Rhode Island is high Italian population, nothing as good as Gallucci's here. I am sure that you have seen the movie Federal Hill which is here in Rhode Island. Nice to find you on the World Wide Web. Keep up the good work.
Fondly,
David

I wanted to write and let you know how much I enjoy your store. I shop there
as often as I can. I drive almost an hour through the orange barrel maze to
get to you. I also want to ask that you plaese continue to import the 5 litre
Ponte Vecchio vino di Tavola. I bought four bottles because I want to help
boost sales of this wine. I gave some of it to a few friends and they all
agree that it's better than any of the standard grocery store brands. You might
also try, if you can , to wholesale it to restaurants. Thanks for the great
store.

Have been coming to your store for years. Now since we live in Ill. it takes us almost 8 hours just to get to Lorain. We then pick up the brother and sister in law (Dore') and make a visit to the store whenever we get to Ohio.
Was just there on Tues. last.
Now when I run out of something I can just order.
Best Wishes,
Kathy

Back in 1961-62 I lived on the west side of Cleveland. My husband's family is Italian, and we used to shop in Gallucci's. I remember the yellow cheeses hanging from the ceiling, the barrels of olives, and the crates of salted cod. Most of all I remember the wonderful smells! Too bad those can't be integrated online. Maybe someday.

I shop at your store almost weekly. Are you running any trips to Italy this year? I would be interested in one that travels near Civitella Alfedena in Abbruzzi and Ragusa/Modica, Sicily. That's where my grandparents are from. I would like to take some cooking classes since I love to cook and I make homemade wine so need to visit some wineries and tast the local vino! Dennis

this site evokes the smell in my nostrils from times long ago when I would roam the isles, searching for the culinary treasures on the shelves. I cannot get the thought outta my head, my arm muscles flex as my brain tells me: "Order, order, ORDER YOU SLOB!"

I use the Cleveland Clinic, and before we return home,
my Wife & I always Load UP. First we get something for lunch, and then a load for home cooking.
A cashier sent me to Ray Sr. one day because of the name on my check.
We had a nice talk about my GrandFather's (Patsy Gallucci) origins in Italy.
It is faggia, he was born in 1909, & came to Cleveland in 1919. Ray Sr. felt
that we are of the same family. I'm not to sure of it myself.
I enjoy talking to Ray Sr. when we use the store.
We definitely appreciate the quality of food we buy at the store.
